Nicholas Daniel & friends

A birthday celebration for the outstanding oboist and conductor includes short pieces written specially for the occasion; a piece from Hannah Kendall’s Tuxedo series, inspired by an artwork by Jean-Michel Basquiat, plus a work by American-born composer David Bruce first heard at the Wigmore Hall in 2019 as part of Nicholas Daniel Oboe Day.
